Referral Program Terms

You send us a property or introduce us to a homeowner. If that referral results in Cash For Your Home purchasing the property and the transaction successfully closes, you get paid — $500 for a property referral, $1,000 for a seller referral.

A submission by itself does not earn a bonus. Payment depends on a closing actually happening.

You notice a property that appears vacant, neglected, damaged, or distressed and send us a picture along with the address or enough information to identify it. We handle attempting to identify and contact the owner from there.

If we purchase that property and close on it, you receive a $500 referral bonus.

You personally know a homeowner with a distressed property who is interested in selling, and you connect that homeowner directly with us.

If that introduction results in a purchase and closing, you receive a $1,000 referral bonus.

A referral bonus becomes payable only when the qualifying referred transaction successfully closes through the title company and the purchase is complete.

If the deal does not close for any reason — the owner declines, terms cannot be agreed on, title issues, or we decide not to purchase — no bonus is owed. We are not obligated to pursue, offer on, or purchase any property that is referred to us.

Bonuses are paid after closing within a reasonable time, using the contact and payment information you provide.

There is no set limit on how many properties you can refer. There is also no guarantee of income. What you earn depends entirely on whether referred properties turn into closed purchases.

Some submissions will not be eligible for a bonus, including:

• Properties already in our records, already submitted by someone else first, or that we were already in contact with about selling.
• Properties we already had under contract or in an active conversation before your submission.
• Duplicate submissions of the same property by the same person.
• Submissions that cannot be identified — no usable address or location information.
• Properties the referring person owns, co-owns, or has a financial interest in, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
• Submissions gathered in a way that is unlawful, involves trespassing on private property, or involves harassing a property owner.
• Information taken from a source you are not permitted to share, including confidential lists from an employer.

If more than one person refers the same property, the bonus goes to the first complete, identifiable submission we received, based on our records. Our determination of the first submission is final.

If you hold a real estate license, are otherwise regulated, or your employer restricts outside compensation, it is your responsibility to confirm that accepting a referral bonus is permitted before you participate. We may decline to pay a bonus where paying it would be prohibited by law or by applicable licensing rules.

This program is not a real estate brokerage arrangement and does not make you an agent, employee, partner, or representative of Cash For Your Home. You may not make offers, negotiate, or speak on our behalf.

Referral bonuses are income. You are responsible for any taxes owed on them. Where required, we will collect a completed W-9 before paying and will issue a 1099 form for bonuses that meet the reporting threshold in a calendar year.

Send referrals by texting Corbin a picture and the address, or by using the referral form on this site. Information you submit is handled according to our Privacy Policy. Please do not include photos of people, and only share a homeowner's contact information when they know you are connecting them with us.

We may change, pause, or end the referral program at any time. Changes apply going forward and will not cancel a bonus already earned on a transaction that has closed.
